Tuition Information
1. All tuition is quoted and invoiced in U.S. dollars.
2. Course tuition is payable via check, money wire, PayPal, or major credit cards. With the exception of dollar checks drawn on banks in Costa Rica, the school does not accept US dollar checks drawn on banks domiciled outside the USA.
3. Tuition includes all accommodations from the date of arrival (June 19th) to the day of departure (July 3rd), all meals, all group equipment, all ground transportation, instruction, etc. Tuition does not include personal clothing, spending money for souvenirs or personal shopping, airfare to/from Costa Rica, medical care, treatment, or emergencies, phone calls, and other incidentals.
Tuition Payment
An initial deposit of $250 USD per participant is required to reserve a space. The deposit is included in the tuition price. Full payment is due 90 days prior to the course start date. If reservations are made less than 90 days in advance, full payment is due immediately. Payments not made on time will be subject to a 10% late fee, or loss of reservation. Payment can be made via check, money wire, PayPal, or major credit cards. With the exception of dollar checks drawn on banks in Costa Rica, the school does not accept US dollar checks drawn on banks domiciled outside the USA. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of payment. Please let us know if you need an additional receipt.

School fees are quoted in US dollars. The school business office will only accept checks. All payments must clearly identify the student(s) whose fees are being paid. Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you cancel before the course start-date, the following schedule applies:
90+ days prior: All tuition and fees are refundable less a $75 application-processing fee per person per course.
60-89 days prior: All tuition and fees are refundable less a $250 application-processing fee per person per course.
Less than 60 days: All tuition and fees are non-refundable.
CDSG reserves the right to cancel any scheduled course up to 31 days prior to the course start date. This would normally be done for reasons of low participation or other factors. Participants would be notified by email or phone call. Participants would be allowed to apply their fees to a future CDSG course within one calendar year, or receive a full cash refund.
Expulsion and Voluntary Withdrawal
CDSG runs quality courses designed to allow each participant full enjoyment of the trip and activities in a safe and supportive environment. We reserve the right to expel/remove participants who present a danger to themselves or others. Participants who are expelled or voluntarily leave for personal reasons do not receive a refund and are responsible for evacuation fees. Students suffering unexpected and legitimate medical / emotional situation / family emergencies will be given fair consideration, but any refund of this type is at the sole discretion of the school.
