Explore your world: Life off Campus
 |
Although our campus is officially 15 acres, we like to think of all of Costa Rica as our extended campus and outdoor learning laboratory!
We are fortunate to be much more than a college-preparatory school comparable with schools in the U.S. and around the world We are that and much more thanks to the dramatic natural setting we enjoy every day, and that is the primary reason students and parents cite for choosing CDSG.
CDSG boarders attend regular classes and participate in extracur-ricular, sports, and community service activities during the week. On weekends, however, they take learning, adventure, and plain old fun outside the classroom and off campus, through a series of planned trips and activities throughout Costa Rica.

You do not need to be a professional scuba diver, horseback rider, hiker, surfer, or all around adventurer. Trips are designed to be available, enjoyable and challenging to all, and while you may find some things to be new and strange, you will be re-warded by the satisfaction of experiencing and learning something new with every challenge. On this page, you see just a very small sample of all the things we do at CDSG. We often wonder if these pictures, and the experiences they represent for our students, could be taken at any other boarding school in the world.
